• Delivering messages via WhatsApp using the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API.

4. WhatsApp Notifications

The use of information received from WhatsApp is governed by Meta's own privacy policy. You may opt out of WhatsApp notifications at any time by contacting your institution or Haegl support.

• Data is stored in secured databases and transmitted over HTTPS.
• Authentication is protected using industry-standard JWT-based token security.
• Access to data is role-based and restricted to authorized users only.
• All data processing is performed on infrastructure controlled by your institution and/or Haegl.

While we implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your information.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only:

• With your educational institution (which administers your campus account).
• With service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., Meta for WhatsApp delivery, hosting providers) under confidentiality obligations.
• When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your institution maintains an active CampusOS account, or as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
